When a group comes together with a common goal, pretty amazing things can happen. That’s the story of the Datto Pride Group,
Datto Pride is an employee group that works to drive LGBTQIA+-friendly initiatives in the work environment, provide support and networking opportunities, and promotes activities that raise awareness about the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies.
As a kick-off event, the Pride Group is hosting a happy hour on March 2 from 5 pm to 7 pm in our Norwalk, Boston, and Rochester offices. Stop by the event for some beverages and appetizers and to get to know more about the Pride Group and its members.
In its early stages, the Pride Group has already presented an excellent opportunity for Datto employees to make new friends and support coworkers, according to Charles Shapleigh, Software Engineer at Datto.
Chelsea Doherty, an Accounts Specialist and a six-year veteran at Datto, says that while she was transferring from Monroe to Norwalk, she was able to find comfort in the Datto Pride community and felt like she had something she could immediately feel a part of and dive into during her transition.
